Week 3: second round of brain storming

expanding on from the giant Monopoly Game, coming up with other board games and then seeing if they could become giant in a functional and fundable way.

Best couple would probably be Guess Who because we characterise significant people in the world as the people from the game. from the tutors to famous people to TV show characters to what ever else we want.
The size could be upscaled from the normal game but downscaled from this version in the photo to fit into the suitcase. or even open up from within the suit case.

another game that can be upscaled well could be battleships. and have the same concept as above with opening the suitcase and playing the game from within.
could have removable boards that sit on top of the suitcase (but still closable) and have all the pieces needed for the game under the boards for storage.

ideas for selling something, or something for the audience to take alway from the market because there weren't enough ideas or concepts as a class so re-exploring that.

*add dream catchers/make your own dream catchers

by beer can truck/bike/whatever.
the kind of things you find at gypsy fairs and whatnot.

Random pot-plants as in not knowing what the plant is when you get it and letting it grow and then finding out what you have got. Something to look after for a while or re-gift on to someone else.

Food is kinda explanatory and have food there to decorate like cup-cakes/donuts/lollies on a stick kinda deal and have people decorate there own YUM food to eat.

Week 3: Concepts

After a group meeting and showing all of the idea we came up with we narrowed it down to these three concepts, they were the ones that crossed over on peoples brainstorms or the ones we all connected to the most.

All images were put together with images the group found on the internet

Week 2: Brainstorming suitcase

After the first class of this paper I started thinking about suitcases and what they mean. I love old suitcase and I collect old vintage ones that are in good condition so I was excited to here that we have to fit our stall into one.
Also my whole life I have been brought up around art, craft and second markets. I have great knowledge of how they work, my mother and I used to go to the markets every week to sell assorted treasures that we didn't want anymore.

Here is a definition I found on the internet of a suitcase:

Suitcase
A case with a handle and a hinged lid, used for
carrying clothes and other personal possessions.
"three huge suitcases and a plethora of hand baggage”
synonyms:
travelling bag, travel bag, case, grip, valise, overnight case,
portmanteau, vanity case, holdall; briefcase, attaché case,
Gladstone bag; trunk, chest; luggage, baggage
"he carried a small battered suitcase"

Images I sourced through google that I felt relate to this paper and link into the market place somehow.
