Week 9: Theme

After class today Jeremy, Courtney and I went to source fabric for the bag. We went to the op shops in town to find and recycle some bedding which only cost us $11 and we ended up with a duvet cover that has the pattern on both sides and a plain sheet. These two images are the colours and the design from the fabric. I replicated the colours and design as we were having trouble with our theme.

We have a logo that is brown but in class today the teachers say it reminded them of chocolate milk so using the colours from the fabric I made some possible designs.

Week 5: Reflecting

Critiquing glass etching idea.

After today class discusses we as a team looked back on your idea we have at the moment which is having a DIY workshop were people design there own glass etching and we package it up and they take it away.

I think this idea brings something new and different to the market place because a majority of the offering teams are creating experiences and interactions. I think what we create with the workshop and what the person takes away is the main point. Its not about the glass its self its about what else we can give.

Brain Storm of other idea.

DIY workshop
- Snow globes, New Zealand style, Massy ones. Similar to the glass but we could create little thing to go inside or go to op shops and other second hand places to find little figurings. We could use old jars, trying not to buy new things, keep environmentally aware. Make if for a friend we could package it up (christmas presents).
- Juice stall, creating awareness about the different properties of fruit and veggies and what they can do for you and making fresh juice on the spot with a juicer. Maybe create little recipes to take away.

Week 5: Reflecting

Critiquing our Glass etching idea

I feel as though the glass idea is a good idea with some potential, though I agree more with the idea of a making experience at the market along with something that people can take home.
The glass etching itself in specific is not the best idea possible, it doesn't really cater to all sorts and isn't something I would personally crave for my own possession.
It is an idea that can be worked with, and evolved further in terms of the way that we move forward thinking about the essential idea behind it all.

Week 3: Buddy Group Feedback

Photo Booth 

-Set it apart from existing products 

-The idea of not knowing intrigues people

-How will we make big things?

-Be mindful of how complicated the game will get 

-Could get messy - too many parts

-Get a map/treasure hunt, same street names as Monopoly
